I went to Catholic schools until college. I got a very good education, probably because the people teaching me were teachers first and always. This post reminded me of when John Glenn was to orbit the Earth and the teachers begged or borrowed a television for each classroom so we could follow every moment. One of the nuns at the school told us all that if anyone told us that 'if God had intended us to be in space, He would have put us there' that we should remember that God gave us brains and curiosity so we could explore His wonders and that the best way to worship God was to go look at all His creations and try to understand.
Thank you for keeping me thinking.
